“THE LIGHT OF WESTERN STARS.” Lovers of Western dramas have only to-night left in which to see Zane, Grey’s famous story, “The Light of Western Stars,’ with Jack Holt, Noah Beery, and Billie Dove. To get the most accurate details and colour tor a cattle-i ustling sequence in the latest Zane Grey production, “The Eight of Western Stars, Willia n K. Howard, director, spent ten days investigating the facts and going over the ground of the last oig cattle stealing incident in Southern Arizona. Tne local© of this incident was in Pima County, but Howard adapted the information he obtained to the xvari” cactus land that skirts the Superstition Mountains, which serves os a background for the new Paramount western. In tho story, Noah Beery, an outlaw chief, and his band of desperadoes raid a ranch and drive otf a herd of cattle. In addition, there is a film of the Dunedin Exhibition, and a further instalment of “damson of the Circus” on the bill. The musical programme is worthy of .praise.
