THEFT OF BOOTS ONE MONTH’S IMPRISONMENT. Samuel McShane, who appeared on remand for sentence for the theft of three pairs of boots valued at £5 15s 6d, the property of Staples and Co., „was sentenced to one'•month’s imprisonment with hard labour. Clifford Joseph Moore, who appeared on a charge of having forged a cheque for £5 2s 6d drawn on the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington, was remanded until December 15th. A similar remand until December 15tb was grantedl in the case of William John Rowe, who appeared on a charge of indecent exposure.
