FIGURES SHOW INCREASE According to the statistics supplied by the district health, officer, the total, of infectious cases for last week chows an increase of 21 over the preceding week. . In Taranaki-Horowhenua pneumonia cases have increased from 3to ,10, and in Ceiitral-Wellihgton the diphtheria: casts from 2 to 14. The following is a complete bulletin for week ending November Bth Tar^naki-Horowhehua.—Diphtheria, v 2; tuberculosis, 3; poliomyelitis, 1; pneumonia, 10; and erysipelas, 1. , Wairarapa-Eost Cape.—Scarlet fever, 8j diphtheria, 1; tuberculosis, 3. Oentral-Wellington,—Scarlet fever, 4; ; diphtheria, 14; and tuborculosis, 2. Notifiable diseases other than infections’ diseases : —Cehtral-Wellingtom Eclampsia 1, and chronic lead 1 poisoning
