WELLINGTON V. NEw ZEALAND MATCH
SANCTIONED BY COUNCIL DATE AS YET UNCERTAIN. At a meeting of the Wellington Cricket Association, held last evening, Mr 0. G. Wilson presided. Messrs H. Buck, H. M. McGirr, A. Ronaldson, W. S. Brice,' P. H. Broad, W. R. Bock, J. Hutchings, and 11. Darrocb (secretary) were also present. An application from Wellington College fdr the services of the official coachfi F. T. Badcock, was referred te the senior championship committee for consideration. The matter of arranging suitable accommodation for the Wellington representative team’s visit to Dunedin early next year wast left in the hands of thq chairman, Mr G. G. Wilson. The Now Zealand Cricket Council wrote sanctioning the request of the Wellington-Association for the playing of a match, between the New Zealand touring team and a Wellington representative eleven, prior to the former’s d«narture for Australia. The match will be played at the Basin Reserve, the arranging of the final dates heing he'd over until the next meeting. The Coach, F. T. Bndeook, -ill he in attendance at the Basin Reserve this evening, when the first of the series of practices arranged for thcolts selected for special coaching will be held. j
