„ FEILDING. Dalgety and Co., Ltd. (Palmerston North), report having a good yarding of cattle at their 'Feilding cattle fair on Friday. Grown cattle were in very keen demand, practically every pen selling at auction at advanced prices. Their entry included several lines of good quality two-year steers, which met a ready sale at very satisfactory prices. A fai* entry of sheep came forward, and these also were keenly competed for. Quotations Fat shorn ewes, light 275, heavy 35s j fat woolly ewes, light 345; fat shorn m.s. two-tooths, 34s 6d; fjood woolly b.f. hoggets, 35s 8d; fair w.f. woolly wether Hoggets, 30s 9d; good, do., 34s 3d to 36s 7d : aged ewes, with w.f. lambs, 36s 9a; s.m. ewes with b.f. lambs, £2 5s to £2 9s; shorn wether hoggets, 28s 6d; small shorn ewe hoggets, 28s 6d; shorn m.s. hoggets, 27s 8d; one-year Hereford steers, £5; two-year steers, £6, £6 13s, £6 17s, £6 19s «d, £7 7s, to £7 8s 6d; two-year P.A. heifers, small, £3 Is; three-fear P.A. heifers, small, £6; good-eonditioned Hereford and Shorthorn three and fouryear bullocks. £11; do., P.A, three and four-year bullocks, £ll 7s.
