MAX LINDER DEAD
FRENCH FILM ACTOR COMMITS SUICIDE IN U.S.A. Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association. {Received November 2, 5.5 . p.m.) PARIS, November 1. Max Linder, the French film actor, and his wife were discovered in bed at an hotel at Baltimore in' a pool of blood. The arteries of the right wrists of both had been’eut, afld a razor lay alongside. The wife was dead, and Linder died later. - He is believed, to have been suffering from tuberculosis, and he left a letter indicating that he and his wife had agreed to commit suicide. Linder was a popular film comedian in the early days of the film industry.
