MAHENO LEAVES AUCKLAND. The Union Company advise that the intercolonial passenger steamer Maheno left Auckland at 11.30 a.m. yesterday for Sydney, where she is due oh Tuesday next. WILLASTON SAILS. Having completed her bunkers, the Union Company’s chartered steamer Willaston sailed from Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth, where she finishes her discharge of her Pacific Coast cargo. DORSET DUE TO>-DAY. For further loading, the Federal S.N. Company’s steamer Dorset is due at Wellington to-iday from Wanganui. She leaves again on Thursday next for Lyttelton, where she completes loading and sails finally on Saturday, November 7th, for West of England ports, via Panama. . LEITRIM'S MOVEMENTS. To complete discharge of her Liverpool cargo and to commence leading, the Federal S.N. Company’s steamer Leitrim arrived at Bluff yesterday from Dunedin. She leaves aghin on Saturday next for Wellington, where she is due on November 9th, and sails again on November 12th for Gisborne, thence Opua and Auckland to complete loading. She is scheduled to finally clear Auckland on November 26th for West of England ports, via New York and Boston. TURAKINA FOR LONDON. The Federal S.N. Company advise that the steamer Kent left Dunedin yesterday for Wellington, where she is due to-day to undergo’ repairs, which are necessary through her late fire at Auckland. LOADING FOR GENOA. To lift further cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Hororata left Bluff yesterday for Wellington, where she is due to-morrow. She afterwards prbceeds to Napier, thence Waikokopu, Gisborne and Auckland to complete loading, and is expected to clear the latter port finally on November 26th for Genoa and London. TAINUI TO COMPLETE. To complete her loading for Home, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advise that the steamer Tainui left Lyttelton yesterday for Wellington and arrives here to-day. _ She is scheduled to sail finally for this port on November 7th for London, via Panama. The Union Company’s steamer Poolta arrived in the stream at Wellington at 1.20 a.m. yesterday. After pratique had been granted she berthed at the Railway wharf at 9.10 a.m. to commence unloading. The Poolta left Newcastle on October 23rd with a cargo of hardwoods, 900 tons of which are for discharge here. Fine weather, with light winds and smooth seas, was experienced during the rtrip. From this port the Poolta leaves to-day for Oamaru and New Plymouth to complete discharge. Captain A. Reed is in command of the vessel, and associated with him are the following officers: — Chief. Mr T. E. Bevan; second, Mr W. M. Millward; third, Mr E. C. Nelson; chief engineer. Mr R. Dickie; second Mr G. Rennie; third, Mr W. Atkinson; wireless operator, Mr G. Britcher. THE NEW uictOn" STEAMER. The Union Company is in receipt of cable advise that the new Picton steamer Tamahine, after being delayed by bad weather, left Southampton on Wednesday last for Wellington, and will .take up her running in the WellingtpnrPicton service, sailing from Wellington *bn Friday, December 11th. ' ■ i * MARAROA FOR DUNEDIN. On her finist trip from Wellington to the Dunedin Exhibition, the Union Company now advise that the Mararoa will leave Wellington on Saturday, December 12th. instead of December sth. as previously announced. CARGO FROM NEW YORK. In continuation of her voyage from New York the A. and A. Line steamer Trefusis is due at Wellington to-morrow from Auckland. She later proceeds to Lyttelton, thence Dunedin and Australia to complete discharge of her cargo. TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. The movements of the Union Compnny’s steamers in the trans-Facific cargo services are as under i The Hauraki left Vancouver on October 24th for Ocean Falls, thence San Francisco, to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, ( and Adelaide. The Waihemo is expected to clear San Francisco on November Ist for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and New Plymouth. The Wairuna left Silva on October 29th for Fanning Island and Vancouver. The Waiotapu leaves Melbourne today for Sydney and Newcastle, thence Fiji, to load for Vancouver. The Luciston (chartered steamer) arrived at Powell River on October 24th. She is due back at Vancouver on October 30th, and clears Victoria, 8.C., on November 2nd for Melbourne and Sydney. The Sierra Nevada (chartered steamer), now loading at San Francisco, sails on November last for Auckland, Wellington, and Sydney. The Willaston (chartered steamer) left Wellington for New Plymouth yesterday, and is due there to-day. After discharge she proceeds to Westport for bunker coal, thence Apia and San Francisco. She loads at San Francisco during December for New Zealand out-ports. VANCOUVER MAIL SERVICE. The Union Company advise the following movements of their Vancouver mail steamers: — . The R.M.M.S. Aorangi, which left Auckland on Tuesday last, passed through Suva on Friday, October SOtli, and is due at Honolulu on Thursday, November sth. She arrives at Vancouver on Thursday, November 12th. The R.M.S. Niagara, from Vancouver, arrived at Honolulu on Wednesday, October 28th, and will reach Suva on Thursday next. She is due at Auckland on Sunday, November Bth. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICES. The Union Company announce the fol-' lowing movements of their 'Frisco mail The R.M.S. Makura was due at San Francisco yesterday, and leaves on Wednesday, November 4th, on her return voyage to Sydney, via usual ports. The R.M.S. Tahiti is due pt Sydney to-morrow and leaves on Thursday, November sth, for Wellington, thence San Fraficisco, via usual ports. ISLAND SERVICE. The movements of the Union Company's Rteamers in the Island services are as follow: The Tofua left Suva on Thursday, October 29th, and is due at Auckland on Monday afternoon. The Kaitoke leaves Sydney on Tuesday, November 2nd, for Suva, thenco Auckland. DEVON'S PROGRAMME. Now at Port Chalmers completing discharge of her Liverpool cargo, the Federal steamer Devon will subsequently load there, thence Timaru, Wellington (November 7th to November 12th), Napior, Gisborno, and Auckland, under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company, for London and West of England ports. She is to sail finally from Auckland on November 30th. TEKOA FOR LYTTELTON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Tokon, now at Dunedin, leaves on Monday for Lyteltr>n, thence Bluff and Napier, to complete her discharge of London cargo.
