An oak cross made from a beam of Nelson’s flagship has been placed on the grave of Admiral Sturdee in Frim / churchyard. Owing to the small attendance, combined with the importance of the business to be discussed, the annual meeting of the Royal Life-Saving Society was adjourned until November 9th.
