LYALL BAY TENNIS CLUB
A Yankee tournament was run bv the above club last week-end in the form of handicap combined doubles for a trbpliy donated by the president, Mr P. Hyams. Owing to large entries it was necessary to divide players into sections. The following is the result of the plav off:—Mrs Gray and Byng (owe 121 defeated Kirs Burn and Dinner (owe 2d), .10—27: Miss Whisker and dark (owe 221 defeated Mrs Gray and Byng (owe 12). 30—26. Final.—Miss Whisker and Clark defeated Mrs Burn and Diaper. 30—27.
