A one-legged scoutmaster, Mr Allan Stewart, has cycled 468 miles from Scotland to the Scouts’ Training Camp at Chingford. Mr Stewart proposed after a short stay to cycle back to Scotland. Antoinette Boltoni, aged three years, of Grange road, Chalk Farm. London, N.W., died after being struck on the head by a swing in Regent's Park.— Verdict at St. Fancras inquest; “Accidental death.” Francis Mytton (18) was killed, and Wihalm Bolton injured, by a piece of timber falling down the shaft at Hose (Heyworth colliery, Abertillery.
