COBAR AGROUND

ALONGSIDE RONA BAY WHARF MURITAI MAKES EXTRA TRIP. The Eastbourne ferry steamer grounded alongside the Rona Bay wharf when endeavouring to berth there about 10.30 last night. The passengers got ashore without difficulty, but those who intended to return to Wellington had to wait for the Mnritai, which made a special trip from Day’s Bay. She reached Wellington shortly after midnight, and returned with forty or fifty residents of Eastbourne. It is understood that the Cobar is in no danger.
