SELECTION OF CANDIDATES MOTUEKA SEAT. Sir Mark Fagan, of Tarakohe, Takaka, hns been selected to contest tha Motueka seat ori behalf of the New Zealand Labour Party. Air Fagan was for seven years chairman of the Innnguima Hospital Board, and has been for many years recognised as one of the ablest and most efficient advocates in the Arbitration Courts of the Dominion. CLUTHA SEAT. Mr J. W. Fenton, the candidate selected to contest the Clutha seat on behalf of the New Zealand Labour Party, is the Mayor of Kaitnngata. and has been a member of the South Otago Hospital Board for the pa-st two years. He hns also been a member of the Kaitangata Borough Council for sis yoars. CANTERBURY "NOMINATION. Per Pres* Association. CHRISTCHURCH. September 22. Twenty-seven candidates have already been announced for the thirteen Canterbury- seats at the gmeral election, and it is expected that several others will also enter the field before polling day.
