AT THE TIVOLI
“WONDERFUL LONDON.” The immense variety of incidents and scenes contained in “Wonderful London,” now at the Tivoli, maintains the interest throughout, and there is not a dull moment. London, ancient and modern, the London of King Charles with some delightful “spirituelles” (if one may coin a word) of the gay cavalier King himself and his inamorata Nell Gwynne. The London of Charles Dickens with David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, the Artful Dodger, Sarah Gamp, and the illustrious author himself shown on the screen all interwoven in this wonderful story of a wonderful city. Just imagine the picture, Sam Weller driving a modern motor, but the Artful Dodger, directed by Fagin, picking the pockets bf the passengers of the modern up-to-date motor-’bus. Every moment is one of interest to the spectators. \ There will _be special - ; screenings at the day sessions. There is a good. supporting programme, while during the evening sessions, “Sliooery McGee.” adaptation from “The Butterfly Man,” and featuring Colleen Moore, yvill be included. Another attraction during the evening sessions is the appropriate music rendered by the Tivoli orchestra.
