HIS MAJESTY’S
A SPARKLING PROGRAMME. Hi's Majesty’s was again crowded lasfc evening, and the huge audience present were delighted with Jim Gerald and his talented company in their funniest of farces, “Oh, Mum.” It is a riot of laughter from beginning to end, and Jim Gerald, who plays tho part of “dame,” and Reg._ Hawthorne his partner, keep the audience in a continuous merriment, while the rest of the company ably assists them. Miss Renee Dixon, who 6ings sweetly '‘J lekyand “Rock-a-Bye,” is ably assisted by those charming little dancers, the Six Twinklers, who are quite a feature of the production. A beautiful toe dance, “Butterflies,” by Polly McLaren, with tiio assistance of tbe Twinklers, won for her a hearty round of applause, and this talented dancer in a Scottish fling showed that she was deservedly three times champion of Scotland. The vaudeville half of the programme was in beeping with high standard of ihe revue, and each number was enthusiastically received. The White Kuhns syncopated cleverly on their banjos and sang a number of catchy melodies to the delight of the audience. Miss Bessie Slaughter, a contralto with rather a remarkable voico that has distinct tenor quailties, scored well. “An Eastern Night.” with a few exotic variations, was tho offering of George Edwards and Mollie Hughes. Georgo Edwards recited with fine colouring on*' of Robert Service's poems. This programme will be submitted 'tonight. and at a special matinee tins afternoon.
