TURKS BLAME BRITAIN

FOR SITUATION AT MOSUL PERSECUTION DENIED. iSyfi "t- ■ Snn" Cable * LONDON, September 17. The “Daily Mail’s” Geneva correspondent states that a Turkish Note in the Mosul case counter-charges Britain with violations of the status quo. It says that military movements on the Irak side of vhe frontier, the enrolment of recruits, and the arrival of motor-lorries loaded with ammunition are causing a most serions situation. It alleges that Britain is using the report of the persecution of Christians to provoke an anti-Turkish religious outbreak, and declares that there are no Christians in the Baijo, Zarawak, and Goyan regions. It is understood that the League is considering sending the Mosul case to the Hague Court for a legal opinion.
