CONTENTS DESTROYED
DRAPERY VALUED AT £7OO. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, July SO. A one-ton track loaded with drapery for hawking went over a bank near Waerengaokuri this afternoon, overturned and caught fire, the driver, A. Hammond, having a narrow escape. • Tbe machine and goods, which were totally destroyed; were the property of R. Herbert Napier, of Nuhaka. The drapery was valued at between £6OO and £7OO. No particulars are available in regard to insurance. '
