PALMERSTON NORTH, July 30, The adjourned conference, of boroughs land counties in No. 9 highways group decided to-day that tbe fees from heavy motor traffic be distributed among local bodies oq a basis of the mean struck' between the mileage of metal roads and capital value, with a special proviso to he enforced till March 31st, 1u26, in the case of the Foxton bor•ugh.
