CARD CONTESTS
TEST CASE BROUGHT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 8. When Alexander James Blackburn was charged this morning with using the Caledonian Hall as a common gaming house, counsel stated that this was to be a lest case in connection with euchre tournaments. A week’s adjournment was granted.
