Lynching, once so prevalent in the TTnitctl States, is rnnitlly becoming- a procedure of tho pnsr. Statistics just issued give the number of lynchings as: G3i 1921, G4<; 192-, 61: 1923 , 28; 1924, 16. „ For the 30 years prior to 1919 the average number of lynchings per year was 107.
