In order to raise money for various efforts it was decided to hold a “bring and buy” social on the evening of Thursday, July 30th, and a small committee was set up to make arrangements for it. The good news was announced that Mrs Don would be in Wellington from August 7th to 15th. and a discussion took place as to the meetings that the union lyould ask her to conduct.
