RAILWAY FARES
HOLIDAY AND RACE EXCURSIONS. In to-day’s “Times” the Railway Department call attention to their advertisement' regarding holiday excurnion and special Wellington-Trentham fares, together with train arrangements in connection with the Wellington races at Trentham on July 7th, 9tb, and 11th. Frequent and adequate race trains nre provided for racing enthusiasts between Wellington and Trentham in the morning and evening before and after the races on the three days of the fixture. Wairarapa passengers are landed at Trentham in good time for the first race. They will be able to return to Masterton each day by a special passenger train which leaves Trentham as soon as the raoes finish. Provision is also made for Manawatu race patrons visiting the meeting at Trentham each day and returning home on the same night if so desired. The special return railway fares from Wellington to Trentham are 4s 6d for carriages and 2s 6d for seated wagons. The admission to course fee is not now included in the rail faros.
