TEAM LEAVE FOR SYDNEY ROUSING SEND-OFF. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 3. The League representative team and its managers left for Sydney by the Mooraki. at 11 o’clock this morning. They had a rousing send-off from a large gathering on the wharf. At a farewell to the team by the Now Zealand; Council. Mr Oarlan, the president, said ho was confident the players would worthily uphold Dominion football and be a credit to the country. Laing, tho captain, said he thought the team a very fine side, and he was hoping to stop the long run of Now South Wales’ success.
