Little Japanese Artists

The children of Japan know not only how to be grateful, but how to express their thanks gracefully. They have wanted to thank those countries which so generously came to Japan's aid after the earthquake, and so last sprifig 100,000 of the Sunday-school children set to work drawing crayon pictures on postcards. They were very young artists —all between the ages of 7 and 14. The best of the postcards have been collected into a dozen albums, and the S tin (fay-schools sent Dr. K. Tsunashima on a tour round the world to present these to representative people of different countries. In* America, one is for Mrs Coolidge, the wife of the President; one for Judge John Barton Payne, and one for tlie Federal Council of the Churches in America. In England, one is for the Queeri, and one for the Lord Mayor of London.
