CORD FOR LOOSE COVERS

If you are making now loose covers for your furniture, don’t forget that the rather thick cord used for piping is very apt to shrink the first time the covers are washed, causing the seams to have an ugly, puckered appearance. -you can overcome this difficulty by washing, boiling, and drying the cord before you use it.
