SAVAGE LIFE

PRINCE’S TOUR IN AFRICA WILD MEN AND WILD BEASTS. Canter's Telegram CAPETOWN, June 17. As the Roy»'. train steamed through the famous Sabie game reserve in Northern Transvaal, the Prince of Wales was able to see something of the primitive life of South Africa, including herds of black wildebeeste and other wild game, which could have been shot from the train windows. The Priuce was tremendously interested in this panorama of wild life. Some hours later the train came upon four huge bonfires in the bush. The train stopped, and the Prince and saw hundreds of wild natives dancing a mad fandango in the firelight. This weird and novel scene was illustrative of the sharp contrasts of South African life.
