VICE-REGAL TOUR
BUSY DAY AT DUNEDIN. Por Press Association. DUNEDIN, June 10. The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson had a busy day to-day. In the forenoon they were conveyed to the Exhibition grounds and shown through the buildings. His Excellency expressed great surprise at the magnitude of the undertaking of which previously lie had no conception. The ViceRegal party were then shown over the Otago University and Medical School. In the afternoon they visited the Red Cross Home at Montecillo, where the Governor-General spent some time conversing with the inmates. The Boy Scouts and Girl Guides were inspected, Miss Fergusson appearing in the costume of a Girl Guide. In the evening Sir Charles, Fergusson was entertained at dinner D.v members of the FernhiU Club, and Bady Alice Fergusson by members of the Oversea Club. To-day, the Governor-General has another busy day mapped out for him, including visits to the Hospital and Ross Home, and the laying of the foundation stone ot fhe Nurses’ Home at the Karitane hospital. He will be the guest of the Rotary Club at . luncheon, and in the evening will be the guest of the Mayor and Mayoress at dinner.
