CIVIC ELECTIONS

NOMINATIONS RECEIVED MAYORALTY, COUNCIL, AND BOARDS THIRTY-SIX FOR COUNCIL. The nominations for the local body elections closed at noon on Saturday. Two candidates—Messrs Chapman and Norwood —were nominated for the Maj’oralty, as against three —Messrs P.
