WELLINGTGN CLUB
ELEVEN TEAMS THIS SEASON.
The WeUin'rton Club intends to make a bid for honours in the season’s championships in all grades, in which 11 or 12 teams will be entered. The clpb has now a membership of well over 200 members, 70 of whom were added this season. A number of changes in last year’s senior personnel are announced. Brunse'l has transferred to Berhampore; Parsons, a Wellington “rep.,” has gone to Manawatu and Ambler is out of Wellington. The vacancies will be filled by Spry, a former Masterton forward. Jarvie (Hawera), Rhodes (King Country), and King (Buller)_, all backs. Lance Dav five-eighths, who played for St. Pat.’a in 1922 and for Dunedin seniors last season, has also joined up with Wellington.
