ANNUAL SHOOTING MATCH
FARMERS' UNION BRANCHES
The annual shooting match for teams from the New Zealand f armed' Union branches was fired at the beginning of the month. Twelve teams entered, lut Blenheim, Hawke’s Bay, and Rai Valley (Marlborough) failed to send in score sheets. Tho three leading teams were:
The Seddon branch of the union will bold the Colonial Ammunition Company’s Challenge Shield for a year, and each member of the loom will receive a gold medal.
The special medal for the highest individual ff’ore outside the winning team was kindly donated bv Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., Wellington, and was won by J- Kearney, of tho Maniototo team, with a ‘•core of 96.
Tho Karori Rifle Club will fire a match at 8 1 0 and 900 yards this afternoon. The competition will be a post entry one, and m view of the near approach of the Wnirarapa and N.It.A. meetings a large entry is expected
