At a mooting of a special committee of tho University Senate held yesterday, the Senior Scholarships for 1924 were awarded n« follow: English: Muriel J. Potter, Auckland. Latin: O. E. ]x>w, Canterbury. French: H. P. Geaney. Auckland. History: W. G. MeClymont, Otago. Economics: Alice G. Brown, Victoria. Philosophy: H. 3*L Field, Canterbury. Education: R. A. Falla. Auckland. Mathematics: A. E. McGregor, Otago. Physics: H. M. Nimmo, Otago, (beniistry: C. R. iiarnieoat. Victoria, J. V. Andrews, Auckland (equal). Retain : Isabel Macdonald. Auckland. Zoology: D. .Miller. Victoria. Law: S. I). Weir, Auckland. Tinliue Scholarship: G. M. Cameron. Otago. Pcst-graduate Scholarships in Arts were awarded to R. Syme. 8.A., Auckland, who was formerly at Victoria College, and A. B. Cochran, 8.A., Auckland.
Three lice* passages were awarded as follow:—A. B. Cochran, 8.A., Auckland; T. E. I’ccbv, M.A.. Canterburv; U. O. Buchanan.'M.A., Otago.
