At the annual meeting of the New South Wales Rugby Union a higaly satisfactory report was presented, which showed that during the year a debt of, £935 had been transformed into a dit of £lll6. The .-All Blacks’ visit' showed a profit of £1627. It was. stated; that the Rugby Union game was again flourishing and popular. It was also with pride that New South’ \v a lee ’s viettory in- the first! Teat wastes' only win scored against the AtPßp(Bcks. The .president. Sir Henry Braddon. declared -that the Rugby Unionhod passed from the valley of lespitr,»ard was now bn the heights. Generous recognition was ma le of the sportsmanship of the New Zealanders in risking defeat and injury by plaving New South Wales on the ' V-> of their British tour. They played, said one sneaker, as if no English tour were ahead.*
