MUNICIPAL MILK
CHANCE IN HOURS OF DELIVERY TO HOUSEHOLDERS. The' attention bf householders is directed to a notification in our advertising columns as to the change in the hours of delivery ol milk to household* which is to commence on Thursday next, the 26th inst., whereby such delivery will be three hours later than at present. The management point out, that the midnight start which has operated through the summer months was instituted by special arrangement with the Dairy Employees’ Union for the summer months only, but now that tho woather is cooler, and no difficulty is found in keeping milk sweet whilst ill tho custody of householders it is now arranged to revert to the early morning delivery, leaving the depot at 3 a.m. , The later delivery considerably lessens the strain upon the roundsmen,* who in the past havo (forked throughout the night.
