ANNUAL EXPENSES. DELEGATES MEET AT FEILDING. Per Press Association. FEILDING, March 2i At the Rabbit Board's conference day, representatives were present from ,Kiwitea, Oroua, Manawatu, Eastern Podhangina, Umutoi, Apiti, ■ Pohangma, Wangaehu, Cheltenham, Hunterville, Rangiotu, and Paten. Mr A. P,- Francis (Kiwitea), who presided, Was elected the permanent chairman of the conference. A discussion on the inferior quality of poison supplied oy the Government took place, and ;t was decided thal tho secretary collect complaints with the object of mailing specific charge* to the Department of Agriculture. A remit from Manawatu, “That tho boards be exempted in the matter ot making returns for poisons sold a« specified under the Poisons Act, 190**,” was lost. A second remit from Manawatu. “That the Government be asked to indent wire-netting, ” was carried. Members emphasised the need for netting off certain areas. A Umutoi Board remit, “That no prosecution bo made against any porson unless by resolution of the board,” was last. Delegates pointed out that this matter was left to the inspectors. Tho election of a board was discussed, delegates, being of opinion that a hoard should be elected lor two years. The , matter was left to the executive r o interview the Minister. It was resolved that the next conference shall include delegates from all boards in tho Wellington province.
