SUBURB WIPED OUT
CONFLAGRATION IN TOKIO. WORKERS’ HOMES LOST. Reuter’s Telegram. TOKIO, March 19. Unofficial estimates place the damage by last pight’s fire at 52 million yen (approximately £4,500,000). The fire swept through a whole suburb, mostly comprising labourers’ dwellings, part of which also suffered through toe holocaust of September, 1923. . Rescue work ,is progressing.
