BROADCASTNG

. STATION FOR QUEENSLAND. It is announced by Amalgamated" Wireless (Australasia) Limited, that arrangements have been completed with the Queensland Government for the erection of a 5 b.w. “Class A” broadcasting station at Brisbane. Wort: will be commenced at an early date, and it is anticipated that the station will be in operation -for the coming winter. In many respects it will be' a\ replica of the three broadcasting stations—2PC, Sydney, .3LO, Melbourne, and 6WF, Perth—already constructed by the company. The whole of the transmitting apparatus will be manufactured at the radio-elec-tric works of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia.) Limited, Sydney.
