HIGH-CLASS VAUDEVILLE

* WILLIAMSON ENTERTAINERS. The last presentation of the programme -presented all last week by the talented, company of Williamson’s Wofld Entertainers at the Opera House was greeted by a delighted and overflowing audience on Saturday evening. This company of first-class artists ia proving highly popular, and does not comprise merely one or two “star” turns. From the opening .turn by Hal. Scott and Connie Graham, who dispense humour and melody, to the final furore created by the Havana Band, there is not a dull moment, Isolde and Alexis are two Continental dancers who come from the London Coliseum, ajjd to say the least their fascinating series of ballToom, fancy, and eccentric dancing is unique. Cardini is a manipulator of cards who not only, mystifies but also amuses, and' his dexterity is something to be witnessed and never forgotten. It is best to bay a programme before one sees the chow, for otherwise it is impossible to tell whether Bert Errol is really a man. His female impersonations are marvellous, and his frocks are something citizens have not seen here before. “The indescribable” Mr Hymack is a mystery man whose abtics savour of the ghostly, and his curious production of anything from a suit to a tie is nothing short of uncanny. Marie Kendall tings well, and impersonates better, and her character sketches are both clever and witty. * One cannot adequately describe the wonderful rhythm of the Havana -Band under Bert Ralton, for its movements must be heard to he appreciated. If. Ralton does not make you tap the floor before the finish' of his first piece, then you have no music in your soul. A complete change of programme is to be presented to-night, and will- he continued all this week. ' /
