FATAL SANDBAR
SUBMARINE WRECKED. (Svdnev “Sun” Cable.) NEW YORK, January 14. The American submarine Sl9 was wrecked on a sandbar off Chatham, Massachusetts. Forty officers and men are aboard. Seas are. breaking over the vessel too rough for /eseuo. In the meantime there -is no imme-d-aagei, os ifc is expected that the several oompa-rtmentg, or the, vessel will hold together until the weather moderates.
