’ TARANAKI STREET CIRCUIT.
The. Rev. C. Eaton'Preeided over a good) attendance of -officials at the Taranaki street Churoh. The total, membership' showed a slight nett increase at 697, despite the removal of an unusual number --qf-.-members. - The removal of Mr •and; Mrs-Harold Thompson to Nelson was an . especial loss, and thanks were esprtosed- for their valuable work for home anjl/foreign mission. ~Mr E. Upton was elected as circuit -secretary for the young people's department. Arrangements were madb to hold harvest festivals during the quarter. The Hofiie Mistdon effort realised Jslß7 .and foreign missions J 8287, a considerable, increase on the previous year. Messrs Mourant and Herron were reelected as circuit stewards and -were appointed; as representatives to conference, With .Messrs C. Burton, and Burley; as substitutes. A further report was submitted on tbe envelope system and the committee were instructed to bring -down a budget, for the next meeting:
