WELLINGTON BTOCK EXCHANGE YESTERDAY'S QUOTATIONS. - ' (3.15 v.jbl. Call.) Prices on the Wellington Stock Exchange were again firm yosterday, three sales being reported. Waihi mining shares were sought at an increase of 3d. Gilt-edged securities were again in fair demand. Inscribed Stocks (1939) being down 2s 6d in the sellers favour, while buyers ere only offering £97 ss. Now Zealand Breweries were sought at ah' advance of 3cL while sellers were* asking 3d more.
