McLeod (2), J. Benge. ' Messrs F. H. Anderson, O. Henshilwood. J. H- Kane, and G. D. Stewart, of' Masterton, were nanmssful in obtaining passes in the New Zealand University examinations in accountancy. On account of the wet weather the Wairarapa Oddfellows' picnio has been postponed till Saturday, January 3rd. Mr G. H. Shute, of Masterton, claims to be the oldest New Zealandborn white man in the Dominion. He was born at New Plymouth on Christinas Dey, 1812.
