Queenstown in particular is crowded with visitors from all parts, excursions in all directions being the order. Beautiful weather had been experienced on the Milford Sound track ; lor the past week; and some distin- ! guished. visitors from America and i Great Britain have been most impressed with its : varied ‘ beauties.' ■ Duiing the week the dean and a pro-; fessor from - Wisconsin University and-i-n army colonel and major crossed the track. At the Sound end of-the track the bush is almost at the height of its glory. The rota ana-scarlet mistletoe are in Bloom, and- -the,- .’kidney.,Jfern is shooting;'its new leave?. Yesterday’s: steimers. were unable to cope with the traffic, to Stewart Island.
