A. Hioks (Wellington), Bullock (Hamilton), Moir -fS-uckland), Dooda (Nelson), Stenbouse (Dunedin), and Purdy (New South Wales). Section B: dole, and Severn (Nelson), Gyles, Kelling, and E. E. Hicks (Wellington), Pihl (Christchurch), Vaughan (Auckland). Absentees: Dunlop (Oamaru) and Kohea (Dunedin). First round result: B. A. Hicks easily defeated Fairburn.
