DEATH OF OLD WOMAN
SWALLOWED POISON
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 24. Tho evidence at the inquest on the body of Mrs Sussannah Fearnley Ellis, aged 72 years, showed that deceased who was visiting Auokland from Waihi swallowed a quantity of poison at I p.m. and died at 9 p.m. A verdict of suicide by swallowing corrosive poison was returned.
