STAFF LUNCHEON
GOLDBERG ADVERTISING AGENCY. The headquarters staff of the Goldberg Advertising Agencv, Limited assembled at the Grand Hotel on Chilstmas Eve for the annual luncheon, whic>. proved a very successful gathering. All departments of the company were fully repreAt the close of the function Mr A. D. Paisley, genoral manager, proposed the toast of “The Company,” coupled with the name of Mr Frank Goldberg, founder and governing director of thq firm. * He refen-ed to the remarkable success of the year’s operations, and yd: he phenomenal growth of the Goldberg Advertising Agencv, Limitod, since its foundation in 1918. Mr V. N. Beasley, secretary of the company, added a word of appreciation of the enterprise displayed by Mr Goldberg ih initiating the company and piloting it through the critical commercial period of the past few years. In his reply Mr Goldberg expressed appreciation of the co-operation of all members of the staff, and announced the decision of the directors to reward the enthusiasm and effort of the staff by the
distribution of a special bonus. He predicted that the year 1925 would see a considerable revival in all classes of business in New Zealand and Australia, and points! out the advance that had been made in the advertising field and the prospects for further success in the work cf scientific marketing.
