Cockney motorists, riding near a farm n**chard, stopped the. cnr. got out, climbed the wall, and gathered half n peck of apples. To complete the "joke” they alpwed down as thev went by tho farmhouse. and called out to the owner: "We helped ourselves to your apples. Thougat we’d tell you.” "Oh, that’s all right,” the farmer called back. "I helped myself to .vour teola while you were in opohard.”
