A DOUBLE LAUNCHING
An event without precedent in the tiory of shiobuilding tcok place recently tt Glasgow, when two 15,000 ton steamships woro launched by one Arm within a few minutes of each other, and were christened respectively by the wife and the daughter of the chairman of the P. and O. Company for whom the vessels were built. The Cathay was launched from the West Yard, and was christened by Viscountess Incficane. The Comorin was launched from the Clvdeholm Yard, and was christened by the Hon. Mrs Alexander Shaw. The vessels have been built for the Australian mail service of the P. and O
