He confirmed over two. thousand natives in- the various islands. The Bishop states, there are difficulties vn the way of efficiently staffing tbe schbolfl, where over three, hundred native boys and girls are trained. The . passengers by tbs Southern Gross include tbe Rev. Mr Hodgson, who is leaving to join the Waiapu diocote; Misses Williams and Sealy, who ace on furlough; tho Rev., Mr Milne, from the Presbyterian Mission in tbe New Hebrides: Mr Larney, the official surveyor at Vila, under the condominium, who is on holiday. ■
