SENTENCES AT AUCKLAND. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, December 17. At the Supreme Court, Mr Justice Stringer sentenced Doris Ellen Brown, jis years of age, for theft of money by the alteration of a hank withdrawal ilip. Accused, who had a bad record, received three years’ reformative treatnent. Ralph Bay ’ Roberts, a youth charged kith arson, which appeared to he a polish escapade, received three years’ probation. Frederick James Daniel Sands, 73 Hs of age, for carnal knowledge of a 14 years and four months, was reded for sentence till Friday.
