WEATHER FORECAST
(By the Government Meteorologist.’) Present indications (A p.n>. yesterday) are for easterly -winds strong, to gale veering to southerlies northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and strong north-east to south-earst winds elsewhere. Weather Unsettled, clondy and misty, with rain generally ,and heavy rain with rivers’rising in many parts of the North Island and the north-east districts of the south. Barometer falling, hut rise everywhere soon.
