rr L CHRISTMAS ISSUES. FIRST EDITION TO-DAY. A special Christmas issue of the “New Zealand Times”—the first of two such issues before- the festive season arrives—is published to-day (Wednesday, December 10th), together with the ordinary news issue ;or-the’paper. This special Christmas issue comprises 18 pages, and the hews issue 12 pages, making 28 in all. There are interesting special-articles, -besides Christinas stories, poetry,’ and miscellaneous matter; together with a special department dealing With the motor trade. All sections are illustrated with a profusion of pictures—looal, topical, and humorous.
Another feature of the issue of. more than usual interest, .is the special sections relating to country, and suburban diotriete. . These sections include the various towns nestling in the Hutt Valley—Petono, Lower .Hutt, Upper Hutt. Silverstream, tnd Trentham also Eastbourne, Day’s Bay, Johueonville, Ngaio, Khandallah. and Karori. Tho second edition of the Christmas number, Which will be published on Friday, December 19th, will also, contain many interesting features, * including special sections dealing With.: Kilbirnie. Hataitai, Miramar, Island Bay, Lyall Bay, Seatoun, Newtown,' . Brooklyn, etc. ' ■ . ' ’
